Black Friday Travel Product Deals

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and Happy Black Friday!  Every year I like to list out some travel related products I’m considering11-28-14-2 purchasing either for myself or someone else as a gift.  I love trying out new things, and I love deals!  Here’s what I’m looking at:

Please note that any prices pointed out in this post could change so be sure you check out the price before you purchase.  Also I do not have access to the availability of the products so keep that in mind as well.

Dobbin Clothing.  This past summer I reviewed dresses from Dobbin Clothing.  I love these dresses and I want to wear them every day. They look professional, and are incredibly flattering and comfortable. When I put one on I feel like a million bucks, and get compliments constantly.  Dobbin Clothing is having a 35% off sale from today thru Monday!  You’ll need to use the following code to have the discount applied:  THANKS35 .  Be sure to check out their site.

THE O.G.  I love my Lo and Sons O.G. purse for my personal item.  I can’t recommend this bag enough to frequent travelers. It is incredibly functional, will hold everything a road warriorette needs, and looks great doing it. I get compliments everywhere I go!  Today it’s on sale for 30% off at a price of $206.50.

Misfit Shine – Activity and Sleep MonitorI recently bought the Misfit Shine and it’s awesome.  It tracks all my activity (including swimming!), is cute, small, doesn’t require charging, and functions as a clock.  It has really helped me step up my exercising, and it’s great to use on the road when being healthy is the hardest.  Today it’s priced at $79.99 which is 20% off the regular price.

Kindle.  I write about my Kindle all the time and use it religiously.  I personally have the Kindle Paperwhite which I love because it has a build-in light.  It’s normally $119 but is on sale today for $99.  If the built-in light isn’t a big deal you can get the Kindle for $49 without built-in light and just use a clip on light or airplane overhead light if needed.  If you’ve never used a Kindle and are worried about it hurting your eyes, I can tell you I have never had any eye problems using my Kindle (and I wear contacts) because the glare-free screen is designed to be easy on the eyes just like a real book.

Maxboost Atomic S External Protective iPhone 5S Battery Case with Built-in Kickstand.  A friend just told me about this and I think it’s really cool.  It’s a case with a built-in battery!  Pretty awesome idea.  Not sure if I’m going to gift this to someone or get it for myself, but at a price of $39.95 today it’s going to be pretty tempting to do both.  It also has a built-in kickstand which is great for hands-free usage.

Solo Vintage Colombian Leather Laptop Backpack. I’ve been considering getting a professional looking backpack for short trips, and the Solo Vintage Colombian Leather Laptop Backpack looks to be the one for me.  It is gorgeous and will hold up to a 15.4” laptop. There are plenty of pockets, the straps are well-padded, and the turquoise lining makes it easy to find things inside.  The reviews are rock solid, with one reviewer coming back to update that after a year of vigorous travel it still looks great and functions well. Today it’s priced at $87.55 so it might be time to make a move on purchasing.

J Pillow, Travel Pillow.  I really like my Samsonite Luggage Inflatable Neck Pillow because it’s comfortable and easy to travel with.  With that being said if I was going on a long trip and was able to make room I really would like to try out this J Pillow, Travel Pillow.  It has 4 ½ star ranking with a lot solid customer reviews.  It also was the winner of the British Invention of the Year 2012/2013.  With a price today at $29.95 it looks like something that might be worth trying out for a long haul flight.  If you are traveling internationally soon be sure to check out my post on preparing for an international travel trip.

AmeriLeather Leather Jewelry Roll.  I’ve been looking for a more convenient way to travel with my jewelry and the AmeriLeather Leather Jewelry Roll just might be the solution.  I really like the pockets inside of it, and the color choices.  The reviews are pretty solid, and at a price of $25.69 today it could be a good gift for you and someone else.
