• Pack efficiently. Whether you are checking your bags or not, make sure your suitcases are packed neatly. If your bags are ready to go it makes things go more quickly at the counter, plus any security scan go more smoothly. There is nothing more frustrating than waiting in line behind people frantically repacking their bags at the counter!

Week in review:

• Is it possible to pack for a trip up north during winter in a single suitcase?  Packing for a two-week winter trip in a carryon.
• Marriott recently announced they would no longer block personal wifi networks in their conference centers. Good news, right?  Marriott no longer blocking personal wifi. Great?
• In an effort to avoid a heavy carryon I weighed everything I pack. The weightiest item surprised me!  Weighing the contents of my carryon.
• I love these etiquette videos from jetBlue! Here are my suggestions for getting out of these uncomfortable situations.

• This week I wrote a post on weighing the contents of my carryon.   @Lady Light Travel is our comment of the week and said “Any laptop with a power brick is going to be heavy. Try looking at tablets that come with a USB charger. Not only are they lighter, but they accept more power sources.”
