For many parts of the country it is finally fall, with cooler temperatures, changing foliage, and longer nights. It also means drier air is on its way, as the humidity of summer leaves us. The first place I notice this is in my lips, so it’s not uncommon for me to have a lip balm in arms reach at all times through winter and into spring. Of course, casual and business travelers are well familiar with dry air, spending so much time in the arid environment of airplanes. In addition to using lip balm constantly, I also love creamy lipsticks. They look great, hold their color, and keep me hydrated. My favorite is Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing Lipcolor. There are a range of colors, from light pink to dark red. My favorite is Courage, which is a little darker than nude-for-me. Available for $11 at Amazon.
