With Memorial Day comes an abundance of sales.  And for those of you considering a new carry-on bag it may be

To help you with your decision to purchase here are a few options from my favorite brands that are part of the luggage sale.

Travelpro.  Coming in at the lowest price is Travelpro with two great options. The Travelpro Luggage Inflight 22″ Expandable Rollaboard is soft sided luggage made of nylon weighing just over nine pounds. Its dimensions are the perfect size at 22 x 14 x 9.  It has a good size pocket in the front (as well as a small pocket), and on the inside it has an interior zipper mesh side pocket and tie-down straps to keep your items secure.  A smaller option is the Maxlite3 International Carry-On, which weighs 5.8 lbs and is 20  x 14 x 9.  This luggage also offers a great warranty program.

Victorinox.  I’ve used Victorinox luggage for years and have been extremely happy with the results.  The only one that is of carry-on size and available as part of the 20% off promo is the Victorinox Lexicon 20 Dual-Caster. The size is perfect, as it weighs 9.2 lbs and measures 20 x 14 x 9. In typical Victorinox style, it’s made of ballistic nylon with plenty of pockets for all of your gear.

Briggs & Riley.  Finally there’s the Briggs & Riley Domestic Carry-On Expandable Upright.  This soft sided rollaboard luggage weighs just over eleven pounds.  Its dimensions are 22.5 x 14 x 9.3 and is made of nylon.  It has a large pocket in the front, and has medium size pockets on the inside.  A smaller option with spinner wheels is the Baseline Commuter Spinner bag, weighing just 7 lbs and measuring 19 x 14 x 9.3.  Briggs & Riley is known for their awesome warranty program, and their luggage is offered in different colors.
