LAX is one of the largest, busiest airports in the world, serving over eighty million passengers last year. When they make a change, it affects a lot of people! Starting May 12 one of the largest terminal moves in aviation history will begin, as Delta moves from Terminals 5 and 6 to Terminals 2 and 3. Do you need to travel through LAX during the transition? The best thing to do is steer clear, but there are plenty of resources available for those who can’t.
