I just discovered this show, and I have to say, it’s awesome. In Covert Affairs, Piper Perabo stars as Annie Walker, a CIA newbie who must balance her complicated personal life with a professional life that’s anything but boring. With episodes filmed on location in some of Europe’s most beautiful and interesting cities, the scenery is almost as exciting as Annie’s fabulous outfits. The chemistry between characters is great, and the storyline just keeps getting better. Check out new episodes on USA Network tonight and every Tuesday at 10/9c.

My most exciting travel story? That would be being stopped by the Peshmerga on the way into Kirkuk when trying to travel between Erbil and Sulaymaniyah in a truck with a bunch of Iraqi Kurds. Apparently my visa did not allow entry into that part of Iraq as it wasn’t considered safe for Westerners. Also, I really like Covert Affairs but haven’t really watched it since the first season.
Our cruise to Bermuda in November 2007 left Charleston just after Hurricane Noel went through. We had some pretty rough waters to sail through and made for some exciting times trying to eat a meal!
A close encounter with a barracuda as I mistakenly entered its territory on my first snorkeling adventure on a cruise! Definitely got the adrenaline going.
It would have to be when my partner and I got “walked” from our LHR airport hotel to a boarding house(seriously), with a shared bath down one floor. Thankfully we paid with an Amex and got a complete refund of the hotel charges.
I was staffed in Asia for work and got to climb the Great Wall of China. I met a Chinese family there and have kept in touch with them – it’s great to have a local family’s perspective!
My most exciting travel story traveling to South Africa. We stayed at a lodge in Pretoria where monkey’s randomly ran across the power lines!
Hmmm – a 7 day sail around the British Virgin Isles on a catamarran – snorkeling, amazing food and wonderful weather!
My most exciting travel story is the recent travel to Flagstaff, AZ which my family is so surprised to visit a national volcano park. Volcano in AZ!
My most exciting story was when I lost my passport at the airport but luckily was handed over by m flight attendant just before takeoff
Who won?
Great stories btw. Congratulations to all.
When in the FSU in the late 80’s, I took a picture of the KGB officers trailing our bus. They tried to confiscate my camera.
