Father’s Day Gift Guide: Road Warrior Edition

travel razorDo you need a gift for a dad that’s also a frequent traveler? With Father’s Day coming up this Sunday I pulled together some last minute gift ideas that have a good chance for on-time delivery using Amazon Prime (double check estimated delivery dates at checkout!). Don’t worry, the Home Warrior double-checked this list to make sure the items are dude-friendly. Here are my top five recommended gifts for your favorite Road Warrior this Father’s Day.

Want to really make Dad’s day?  The highly rated Briggs & Riley Baseline Luggage Domestic Carry-On Expandable Upright Suitcase is sure to impress. My brother-in-law got it for Father’s Day last year and still tells me how much he loves on a regular basis.

Does Dad like to read?  Get dad with the times by giving him an e-reader this Father’s Day.  Be sure to tell him that if he’s a library member that he can download countless ebooks for free.

Who doesn’t like a little peace and quiet, especially when you’ve got little ones?  The Bose QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones will give him just that.  I use mine on nearly every trip I go on. It helps me focus on work when I need to, and relax when I don’t.

Here is a gift I actually got for the Home Warrior this year: a highly-rated travel razor. (Don’t tell him!) This Philips Norelco Travel Electric Razor (pictured) has almost 900 reviews and a 4.5 star rating. I’ll let you know what he thinks! (I  also got him a #DemoDay tee from Magnolia Market, for you fellow Fixer Upper fans out there.)

Heard of Rick Steves?  He has an awesome travel shopping page and our readers love his luggage too.  Get Dad an E-Gift card to use on Rick Steves’ shopping page and he will surely have a Happy Father’s Day!

One  other Father’s Day gift from a couple of years ago: The Home Warrior is an unapologetic over-packer. He listens patiently to my packing suggestions and then proceeds to pack his fan and soccer ball for plane trips. Sigh.  Anyway, one year I got him a manly travel kit, with his favorite travel-sized toothpaste, a toothbrush, and other favorite toiletries. It made things easier for him, and takes up less valuable real estate in our suitcases. Win-win.

Readers, what are you getting the important men in your life for Father’s Day?
