The holiday season is upon us! As much as I love shopping for the perfect gift for each of my loved ones, sometimes I need help with ideas. If you have a frequent traveler on your list (or if you are a frequent traveler with no idea what to ask for) here are some suggestions for gifts that will make their trips easier and more pleasant. I listed several ideas in my Black Friday Travel Product Deals, such as the mobile charger, travel briefcase or purse, and eReader. In addition to those, here are some things that are sure to delight anyone who travels often.

Suitcase. The most important piece of a business traveler’s toolbox! I have the Victorinox Werks Traveler 20” (and love it), but for more options here is a comprehensive list of my readers’ favorite carry-on suitcases.

Headphones. Whether your loved one prefers earbuds or full-on noise canceling, headphones are sure to make their trips much better. You can’t go wrong with Bose—either the earbuds or the full-sized originals.

Pashmina. The most versatile item in my bag—a scarf, blanket, pillow, sarong, napkin…all travelers need a pashmina! They are available basically everywhere, from $10 to $100 and more. I love the lux feel of this cashmere version, but the budget friendly options are lovely as well.

Slippers. A necessity for travel during the winter or international travel. I prefer slippers with a rubber sole to offer as much protection as possible.

Travel tea pack. A delicious warm beverage can make you feel at home even when you’re far. A tin of delicious teas won’t take up much room in your suitcase but will have a great impact on your well being.

Travel toiletries. Pamper your loved one while they’re on the road! Sephora and 3floz.com are great resources for luxurious toiletries in travel size. I really want to try the Air Repair Rescue Balm and Facial Mist kit from 3floz. Or if you’re feeling generous the Sephora Favorites Superstars is a great value at $75 for 12 full-sized offerings.

Travel candle. Like the tea, a travel candle won’t take up much room but can fill a boring hotel room with a scent reminiscent of home. Or it can cover up any offending odors. Either way, a great gift for a frequent traveler.
