Each week Road Warriorette features a travel bag that hits all of the high notes for ladies on the road: pockets, construction, and (of course!) style.
A baby bag for a travel purse? I know it seems weird, but go with me a moment. The Coach Peyton Signature Baby Bag is the perfect size, has a million pockets, and is waterproof and leakproof. The gray and black logo print is classic (read: does not look like a baby bag) and will match with everything. The kicker: I know two women (neither of whom has babies) who use this for their primary work bag. It comfortably holds their laptop, files, and travel accoutrement with room leftover, and they love it. Available on Amazon for $325.

I don’t have babies and own a similar Coach bag. I bought it a few years ago from a local Coach outlet store. If my laptop wasn’t so heavy, I would use it more often.
My luggage includes:
1 large brown leather Coach duffle
1 brown leather Coach messenger (matches the large brown duffle)
1 medium blue leather Coach duffle (best looking of the bunch IMHO – google for “coach F93202”)
1 large Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Carryall
1 Tumi Vapor Continental
And guess what? The two Coach duffles get *way* more use than the Tumi or the LV bag, and they were the cheapest of the bunch! I rarely see other travelers with my Coach bags, but I always see other people with Tumis or LVs.
