I have a love/hate relationship with Black Friday. As a lifelong bargain-hunter, the idea of a great deal is so appealing. But I hate the idea that if I don’t get to the store at 4am (or 6pm the night before) I lose out on special savings. Thankfully online shopping offers a lot of the same deals, so I spend the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving scouring the web for the best deals. Amazon always has some great prices, so here are some great Amazon Black Friday deals for travelers. There are all kinds of deals this week on Amazon, but these are a few of my favorites.

Bose QuietComfort Noise Cancelling earbuds. All  of the great features of noise-cancelling, without the bulk of giant headphones. Travelers love QuietComfort technology, which allows them to tune out the noise and bustle of travel. Normally $249, they are 20% off right now.

Kindle Paperwhite. All Amazon Kindle devices are on sale this week. The entry level Kindle is $49 (down from $79), the Kindle Voyage is $169 (down from $199), and my beloved Kindle Paperwhite is just $99 (down from $119). If you like to read while traveling, you’ve got to get an eReader. I’ve had a Kindle Paperwhite for three years or so, and I use it on every trip. The unique front-lighting allows me to read in the dark but doesn’t have typical computer-screen glare. A GREAT gift for frequent travelers.

Schvigel RFID Passport Wallet. For a security-conscious international traveler, a wallet with RFID blocking technology is very important. These wallets will hold credit cards, cash, and your passport with room to spare. Normally $69, they are on sale for $37 (46% off) and available in five colors.

eBags Packing Cubes. An integral part of my packing strategy, nothing allows me to get more clothes into my suitcase like my packing cubes! This set include four cubes in a range of sizes, and is available in multiple colors. Normally $52, they are on sale now for $35.

Bonus: This is absolutely not travel friendly in any shape or form, but it is something I’m looking at for the Home Warrior: the Ryobi Cordless Brad Nailer. He wants a nail gun, and apparently there are some available now that don’t need a compressor! Sounds pretty awesome to me.
