Travel tip of the week:
- Bring disinfectant wipes with you when you travel. Yesterday I posted a story NBC did about germs at the airport and in planes. Wipe down the bins you use in security and the tray table on your plane to avoid some of the worst germ spots when traveling.
Week in review:
- Traveling while injured is a daunting task. Learn about how to navigate airports when injured.
- We had a lot of feedback on everyone’s favorite luggage brands and the votes have been tallied.
- What will travel be like in the year 2039? I cover a NBC story on the future of flight.
- If you’re traveling by train (or plane) please avoid doing this. See my travel etiquette tip.
- Travel bag of the week: Everything Hobo makes is gorgeous and functional, and this beautiful bag is no exception.

Comment of the week:
@Wendy posted how she makes traveling easier while injured.
“ I’ve travelled using crutches, cane and a rollator walker. The easiest to use is the walker because you have a basket underneath the seat for your purse and your carry on bag will sit on the seat while you are pushing it. Plus you get tired you always have a seat. You have to gate check the walker but it is always back waiting for you when you get off the plane. ….”
Readers, chime in with what’s on your mind! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
