The seasons are finally changing, moving from cold, rainy, icky winter (which has been very strange since I live in Texas and normally winter is at least half beautiful) to beautiful, breezy, sunny spring. Whenever spring arrives I immediately want to go work in my garden, and go shopping. Transitioning to pretty colors, lightweight fabrics, and cheery prints seems natural this time of year, and offerings in some of my favorite stores are reflecting this as well. Here are a few of my favorites that I’ve seen around. Happy shopping!!
LOVE this sweater from Ann Taylor LOFT. Love the color (which here appears pink to me, but it is called vanilla), the details, and the softness. I would wear this with my gray slacks and a creamy cami. Adds interest but will still travel well and be comfortable.
This sweater from Old Navy would be great with navy or gray slacks. A lightweight sweater that is perfect for sunny days but still warm enough for the occasional breeze. The stripes look like sherbet and make me smile just to see them.
This dress from Banana Republic is beautiful, with its watercolor print and pastel colors. Make it a little more serious with a cardigan and pumps, or wear it on the weekend as is.
